Reiko Tomino is an IFPA certified aromatherapist, a Japanese acupuncturist, and the principal tutor of the International Medical-Spa Institute (IMSI), an IFPA accredited school. Her first encounter with natural medicine was in Vietnam, where she studied as a university student. She was moved by the fact that people were living without modern medicine and using herbs and massage, which led her to pursue a career in natural therapy.
After studying aromatherapy at ITHMA, London with Gabriel Mojay, she studied reflexology in South Africa and Vietnam, and also became a certified acupuncturist in Japan. She has been teaching natural medicine at IMSI in Tokyo for over 20 years and organizes seminars for overseas teachers.
Reiko also enjoys volunteering her time to provide therapy to the disabled and elderly.
