Beverley Higham has been a teacher of beauty and Holistic therapy for more than 35 years. During this time, she received a medal of excellence from City and Guilds for teaching and won the Heinemann Books inspirational challenge for inspiring learning.
Her early work involved working with Doctors in NHS practice in her local area, preparing and delivering aromatherapy treatments as a complementary and alternative option. Her passion for Aromatherapy has led her to study clinical aromatherapy over the years in France and develop formulations for natural products for health and beauty. She is part of an international team of teachers known as the Alliance of Holistic Aromatherapy Members (AHAM), delivering education worldwide. She has presented research on women's health and continues to support the industry in any way she can.
She has a published book and has contributed chapters to other best-selling publications. Since her retirement in 2019, she has become a director of the Hair and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), a charity that supports the UK's Hair, Beauty and Wellness industry.
